Un homme inculpé pour "apologie de terrorisme"

PARIS (Reuters) - Un homme de 26 ans actif sur un site de propagande djihadiste a été mis en examen jeudi pour "apologie d'actes de terrorisme et provocation � la commission d'actes de terrorisme" et écroué, a-t-on appris de source judiciaire.

Romain L., connu sous le nom d'Abou Siyad al-Normandy sur internet, avait été interpellé mardi en Normandie par la Direction centrale du renseignement intérieur (DCRI).

Le parquet de Paris avait annoncé auparavant dans la journée l'ouverture d'une information judiciaire contre cet homme marié � une Franco-Marocaine et converti � l'islam � l'âge de vingt ans.

Dans un communiqué, le parquet a indiqué qu'il avait reconnu "son implication, d'une part en qualité d'administrateur du site djihadiste Ansar al Haqq, d'autre part en qualité de diffuseur de la revue Inspire (...) créée le 2 juillet 2010 par Al Qaïda dans la Péninsule Arabique (Aqpa)".

Il s'agit de la première application de la disposition entrée en vigueur en décembre 2012 qui permet de placer en détention provisoire une personne mise en examen pour "apologie d'actes de terrorisme ou provocation � la commission d'actes de terrorisme."

Créé le 20 janvier 2007, le site Ansar al Haqq compte plus de 4.000 membres dont 685 actifs. Romain L. y a publié de nombreux messages et communiqués d'Al Qaïda au Maghreb islamique (Aqmi).

Selon les enquêteurs, il a également joué un rôle actif dans la traduction en langue française et la diffusion des dixième et onzième opus de la revue Inspire, revue de propagande anglophone d'Aqpa.
